Every batch of Boodles Gin is made with care and attention to detail. It starts with a pure spirit distilled from British wheat. After that, the liquid is redistilled in a Carter Head copper still, allowing the botanicals to gradually infuse into the spirit.
Their one-of-a-kind recipe includes botanicals sourced from the world's best growers. Boodles Gin, interestingly, contains no citrus – a practical decision made by the original distillers who expected a fantastic drink to include a slice of lemon or lime.
The Boodles recipe also includes traditional herbs and spices such as nutmeg, sage, and rosemary.
These ingredients give Boodles a mellow but herbal flavour that balances out the essential piney notes from juniper.
A further five ingredients round out the recipe, resulting in a forthright but subtle spirit suitable for any brilliant drink – martinis, Boodles & tonics, bucks, or additional mixology for those so inclined.
